Emily’s work brings strangers together in real-world and virtual crowds. For mome, she will pre-construct ‘paper doll’ body puppets based on participant photos, to be adorned and worn on-site. Three stop-motion animation stations will capture movement and/or stories told by groups expressing their own "selves" within a crowd, based on a simple prompt. Props and ‘VideoMob’ images will be ready for immediate take-home, while final edited stop-motion videos will be emailed post-popup.
